Computer Engineering

For several years people have thought that computer engineers just fix computers when they are malfunctioning. The thing is there not wrong for thinking that, but computer engineers do not only fix computers while their troubleshooting, they deal with every aspect of the computer inside and out. For example they perform computer functional allocations, develop codes, softwares, and hardwares. They also deal with Electronics, so another name for a computer engineer would be an Electronic engineer because both fields are closely related. So there are many devices that we use now in our every day life that were designed or actually made by a computer engineer like portable music player, a GPS navigational system, and even a robot.
To become a computer engineer you need at least a bachelor degree , a two year degree isn’t to bad either but getting a bachelor degree is better. The reason being is because for one you make more money, two most major companies like Microsoft, Google, and Yahoo require their employees to have at least a bachelors degree in computer engineering . In college after completing your prerequisites you have to take a series of computer classes, and math classes. For instance you have to take courses like Hands-on Computer Engineering, Personal Computer Concepts: Software & Hardware, Robot Automation: Intelligence through Feedback Control, Precalculus, Statistics, and Mathematical Methods for Engineers. Each course plays a big part in becoming a computer engineer. The computer classes are important because its vital that you know everything about computers. While on the other hand the math classes are even more essential since most computer programs and software’s are based on numbers, patterns, and statistics.
A average computer engineer makes about $87,170 Annually , hourly that’s $41.91, so for example if you get paid every two weeks and worked 80 hours for those two weeks you would make about $3352.80 every two weeks. And that’s just when you have a two year degree. I bet that sounds great, but that’s nothing compared to how much money you would be making if you had a bachelors in computer engineering or computer science. For instance if you were working for a major corporation like Google as a Google programmer your annual salary would be about 92,000 a year.
To sum it up as the world changes technology and computers will as well, so if your plans are becoming a Electronic or computer engineer the odds are on your side.

My Life Story

I was born September 24th,1998 in Miami, Florida at Jackson memorial hospital the time was7:15 pm when I was brought into this world weighing 8 lbs. Originally I was suppose to be named Chris, but when my mother saw my face she immediately thought about one of her favorite cousin, and named me Kency. I have one brother, and two sisters. Michael was first, Guerda was second, Tania was third, I was the last child. Both of my parents were born in Haiti but moved down here and had kids, so me and my other siblings would have a better life style and education . When I first started going to school I attended Edison park elementary until I graduated . I have several astonishing memories of elementary school such as going to the Miami sea quarium in first grade, going to the science museum in the third grade, and I even remember fifth grade graduation. Although those memories were very heart filling and fun to remember there’s one day I could never forget. I remember it like was yesterday, it was when I was in the forth grade , my forth grade teacher Mrs. Rodgruiez invited me to bible club on a Thursday. Like any other forth grader after school I just wanted to go home play video games, and watch cartoons. But for some strange reason that Thursday after school I decided to go to bible club. That same day I went and I accepted Jesus into my life. Even though I was very young and really didn’t quite grasp the concept of life yet, I felt like that day really changed my life in every aspect. It helped me become more mature as a child and gave me certain morals to live by in life.
After graduating from Edison park, I also went to Edison middle through out my junior high years. In six and seventh grade I was one those kids that was very mellow, shy, and stayed to my self. But in the middle of seventh grade I unwined a little and joined the band, I played the base drum, tenor, and snare. After joining the band and gaining multiple friends I somewhat became the man, because I continued to make much more friends and was rewarded by my band director to become section leader of percussion.
Soon after graduating from junior high initially I was going to Miami Edison senior high. But since it was a “F’ school my mom didn’t approve of me going there, and immediately she transferred me to North Miami Beach Senior High school with the no child left behind program. While I was in high school I joined the 5000 role model club, the senior class club, and Business Professional of America club. Each club helped me academically in various ways dealing with school. After graduating from high school I decided to seek an higher education at Miami Dade College. The reason being is because I wanted to attend a college close to home. To be brief I hope to pursue a associates in science degree for computer engineering at Miami Dade, then further my education at a university with a bachelor degree in computer science.
