Computer Engineering

For several years people have thought that computer engineers just fix computers when they are malfunctioning. The thing is there not wrong for thinking that, but computer engineers do not only fix computers while their troubleshooting, they deal with every aspect of the computer inside and out. For example they perform computer functional allocations, develop codes, softwares, and hardwares. They also deal with Electronics, so another name for a computer engineer would be an Electronic engineer because both fields are closely related. So there are many devices that we use now in our every day life that were designed or actually made by a computer engineer like portable music player, a GPS navigational system, and even a robot.
To become a computer engineer you need at least a bachelor degree , a two year degree isn’t to bad either but getting a bachelor degree is better. The reason being is because for one you make more money, two most major companies like Microsoft, Google, and Yahoo require their employees to have at least a bachelors degree in computer engineering . In college after completing your prerequisites you have to take a series of computer classes, and math classes. For instance you have to take courses like Hands-on Computer Engineering, Personal Computer Concepts: Software & Hardware, Robot Automation: Intelligence through Feedback Control, Precalculus, Statistics, and Mathematical Methods for Engineers. Each course plays a big part in becoming a computer engineer. The computer classes are important because its vital that you know everything about computers. While on the other hand the math classes are even more essential since most computer programs and software’s are based on numbers, patterns, and statistics.
A average computer engineer makes about $87,170 Annually , hourly that’s $41.91, so for example if you get paid every two weeks and worked 80 hours for those two weeks you would make about $3352.80 every two weeks. And that’s just when you have a two year degree. I bet that sounds great, but that’s nothing compared to how much money you would be making if you had a bachelors in computer engineering or computer science. For instance if you were working for a major corporation like Google as a Google programmer your annual salary would be about 92,000 a year.
To sum it up as the world changes technology and computers will as well, so if your plans are becoming a Electronic or computer engineer the odds are on your side.

Hey Mike, I saw a quote from you regarding "Rachel from card holder services" and just wanted to contact you because you are a computer guy and you can help! I would like a system that answers my phone and requests a 3 digit number to be punched in before I hear a ring. Is this doable? Marianne mlarnold@ptd.net
